At Scarborough Village Physio & Chiro, we take an interdisciplinary team approach to patient care, in which the patient and family are the first and most important part of the team. Along with the patient, the doctors and multiple therapists work together as one to set goals and monitor progress for the best recovery.

Maitri’s treatment plans are individually tailored to her patient's problems and needs. She aims to optimize human function and maximize the recovery by using evidence based approach. She treats using a hands-on approach, rehab exercises, soft tissue release, modalities and patient education. Her goal is to empower each of her patients to become stronger, independent and bring them back to their favourite activity.

Jharna completed her Masters of Physiotherapy Post Graduation in Musculoskeletal Sciences and Manual Therapy from India. She is passionate in interacting and helping clients of all ages however she has developed a special interest in treating Geriatrics and managing conditions like Osteoarthritis, Osteoporosis and Spinal conditions- cervical and lumbar spondylitis. Jharna has also successfully rehabilitated clients with post Total Knee and Hip Replacements. Jharna preferred mode of treatment is Manual therapy, Soft Tissue Release techniques augmented with application of various modalities, exercises and client education.

Kritika's approach is a comprehensive assessment to reach a clear diagnosis and ensures an emphasizes on education. She sets attainable goals and guides her patients to achieve them. She utilizing a combination of manual therapy, electrotherapeutic modalities, acupuncture, therapeutic cupping, soft tissue release and customized exercises plan. She is passionate about women's health and has advanced training in Pelvic health Physiotherapy completing 3 levels with Pelvic Health Solutions and specialized training in Pregnancy related Pelvic girdle pain. She strives to provide a comfortable environment and open dialogue around pelvic health issues including Urinary Incontinence, Urgency/ Frequency, Fecal Incontinence, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Constipation, Perineal pain (Vulvodynia, Vaginismus, Dyspareunia, Vestibulodynia), Pre & post-partum care, Urologically-based pelvic pain (Bladder pain syndrome/Interstitial cystitis), Gynaecologically-based pelvic pain (Endometriosis, Dysmenorrhea) In her free time, she enjoys spending time in the gym.

The goal Dr. Clarence has for his patients is to reduce pain, improve function and prevent injury and chronic conditions so that clients can get back to doing what they love. He has achieved advanced certificates in Sport Science & Human Performance as well as Custom Stabilizing Orthotics. Dr. Clarence is a Contemporary Medical Acupuncture provider and is trained in various soft tissue therapies, including instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy.

Dr. Nooreen obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University and continued her studies at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. She is a certified Clinical Acupuncture provider and is also trained in Growco Post-Natal Rehabilitation and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Therapy. Dr. Nooreen’s goal is to educate you on the source of your pain and work with you to create solutions to overcome it, using a full spectrum of Diversified and wellness-based techniques. She is passionate about providing evidence-based and patient centered care to individuals of all ages, so that they can live life to their full potential.
Dr. Grace Kim obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Kim is trained in Webster Technique through ICPA, and is a certified Clinical Acupuncture provider from McMaster University. She has also completed 'The Boot Camp Program for Spinal Stenosis©️', an evidenced-based, non-surgical approach developed at Mount Sinai Hospital by Dr. Carlo Ammendolia.

Dr. Sheth obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and holds a Bachelor of Science (Specialized Honours) degree from York University. Dr. Sheth is a Clinical Acupuncture provider and a Shift Certified Concussion Management Practitioner. He is trained in soft tissue therapies such as myofascial release therapy and Graston Technique. He has also lectured first and second year Anatomy and first year Physiology at the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy and Seneca College.

Nicole has experience in various clinical settings including private practice, long-term care facilities, retirement residences, Women’s College Hospital, Toronto Rehab (Bickle Centre), and Rexdale Community Health Centre which has given her the opportunity to work with patients with diverse healthcare needs. She has a passion for improving the foot health of her patients by thoroughly educating her patients and providing a holistic approach to the care of her patients.
Catherine Duong completed her Chiropody degree from the Michener Institute of Education at the University Health Network. To focus on her patient-based interests, she devoted several hundred hours to volunteering in hospitals, community health centres, and eventually embarked on a non-profit medical brigade to a rural village in Honduras. Catherine has treated patients at the Wound Care Centre at Women’s College Hospital, LAMP Community Health Centre, and the Michener Chiropody Clinic. These clinics helped her gain invaluable expertise on dermatological, biomechanical, surgical, musculoskeletal, and geriatric care. She is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at the prestigious Michener Institute of Education.

Megan is a Registered Social Worker who obtained her Masters of Social Work from University of Toronto and her Bachelor of Social Work from Ryerson University. Over the past ten years she has worked with adolescents, youth, adults and families in several different settings including community mental health, hospital, crisis services, school and live in treatment homes. She has worked with people experiencing a wide range of complex needs and challenges such as developmental, cognitive, physical and mental. She is passionate about helping others and works collaboratively from a strengths-based, trauma informed and person-centred approach. She has provided individual, group and family therapy using an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy.
Tito is a registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Tito's specialities include, but are not limited to deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage.
Jocelyn is a personal support worker and Massage Therapy graduate. She is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. Jocelyn’s specialities include, but are not limited to deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage. When she is not in clinic treating, Jocelyn loves spending time with her family.
Dong is a graduate of Pharma-Medical Science College of Canada. He provides both relaxing and rehabilitating massage services that combine various techniques and products. Dong has a special talent in anticipating clients need to create a welcoming and comfortable environment. He specializes in deep tissue, Swedish massage, myofacial stretching and trigger point therapy.
John is passionate about helping people move, feel and function better. He treats a variety of ages with acute and chronic musculoskeletal issues to stress-related conditions. He is driven by finding out the cause of a patient's pain through movement, postural analysis and orthopedic assessments and then creates individualized treatments incorporating a range of modalities. These techniques include Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Soft Tissue Therapy, Joint Mobilizations, manual therapy and remedial exercises. To expand his knowledge and help patients achieve their goals, John continues to advance his education by taking courses such as Applied Functional Science, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilizations (e.g. edge tool & cupping). He is also a sports massage therapist certified candidate with the Canadian Sports Massage Therapy Association.
Jessica uses a unique combination of Swedish and advanced massage techniques, such as Hot Stone Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Prenatal and Postnatal Massage, Sport Massage, and Trigger Point Therapy. Her treatments will help alleviate pain and reduce stress and other symptoms. Her experience and care will provide you with relief while harnessing the body’s natural healing abilities.
Rhodina graduated from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy as a registered massage therapist and a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. She recently completed her certification in Hot Stone Therapy, and in addition to being an RMT, Rhodina also holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the Philippines.
